Some installers supply commercial-grade lights, clips, timers and storage as one seasonal package. Others install customer-owned products. Compare quotes only after confirming who owns the materials and who is responsible for failed sections during the season.
Access drives the job
Send clear photos of rooflines, trees, columns and power locations. Mention steep roofs, multi-storey sections, limited ladder access and any areas that should not receive fasteners. Commercial sites should also identify working-hour restrictions and pedestrian zones.
Plan removal before installation
Confirm the removal window, whether storage is included, how custom-cut light runs are labelled for next season and what happens if severe weather delays takedown. A complete seasonal quote should make the end-of-season process as clear as installation day.
