The useful questions are not only where the tires sit, but how they are identified, tracked, returned and connected to your next changeover appointment. A good storage process reduces the chance of delays or mix-ups during peak tire season.
Record the set before it leaves
Keep photos of the tires and wheels, note the tire size and identify any existing curb rash, damage or unusual wear. Ask how the provider labels and tracks customer sets.
Ask how retrieval works
Clarify how much notice is required before a spring or fall changeover, whether pickup and delivery are available, whether storage is priced by season or year, and what happens if you change vehicles or no longer need the set.
